2014 A8 3.0 Engine Died On Road
Hi All,
My wife was exiting I-95 and went to turn right when the engine died. She was able to get it safely stopped in median. No light, no warning. It started back up immediately and she drove it home.
Audi Jax has had the car for two days and has tried everything, but can not duplicate or get any codes. Any one had this happen?

I think the obvious starting places are the coils or the engine speed sensor. In either case you'd expect there to be engine codes.... so if there are not then you are looking at a sporadic problem that doesn't cause a CEL. Was there a check engine light at any point?
