Fellow ACNA and ACFL Member 

June is Le Mans and for the fifth year running Jeff Wize and the team at Reeves Motorsports Tampa will be bringing the start of this historic event to race fans in the Tampa Bay Region. There will be the usual fine catering, and comfortable viewing under the trees at their facility. Watch for further details and RSVP information as this event gets closer. 

If you are in the West Palm Beach to Miami area be sure to contact Andreas Regalado at his new ACFL email address andreas.r@audiclufl.org regarding the Gold Coast Region. I recently met with Andreas and there are a number of things planned as he gets this new region off of the planning boards. 

There is a new Audi Point, the term Audi uses for their dealership locations in Sarasota and on July 16th we will be taking a tour of this facility thanks to the arrangements made by Julie Clark. Many will remember the event Julie planned last summer when we had a luncheon at the Alpine Steak House in Sarasota. Good food and good times need a repeat so we will be doing a rerun of this event in July, details to follow in the next newsletter. 

I guess there had been some serious high level discussions regarding the 6% discount off of MSRP offered by AoA to ACNA members. We all know that it does not apply to R8’s and some other vehicles. I understand that it now applies to the new A4, which is good news. I also understand that this discount has been withdrawn from some other groups, which previously had been afforded this benefit. Perhaps AoA realizes the value that ACNA members bring to the brand and their continued 60 some odd months of exceeding previous years sales.
