I recently upgraded my 2007 A6 to a 2014 3.0. I have a factory set of roof racks I used just a few time to carry my kayak. They are like new and attach solidly to the roof using out-of-sight holes…Continue

September 2012 Newsletter ACFL-001-220812
Fellow ACFL Chapter members and enthusiasts,
This newsletter marks the roll out of our first edition in the new format. It has been a collaborative effort on the parts of Walter Moore, the folks at the ACNA under the leadership of Andreas Dharmawan and the design efforts of AoA. It presents the new unified corporate look and direction, placing club/chapter to member media communication in a very similar format and feel across all clubs and chapters. No longer will Gmail and its’ associated issues in font, justification, and attachments be used. I hope you all enjoy it.

For those who enjoy S. Dali, an event sponsored in part by Crown Audi “Liquid Desires”
http://thedali.org/events/liquid_desires/. Unfortunately, being neither a connoisseur of art nor design, for me Audi has always had a very fluid look even prior to the US introduction of the 1984 c.d. paradigm breaking and wind cheating 5000S.

We are working on putting together the following driving and dinner event, if you would like to help, drop me a line at bob@audiclubfl.org, thank you
Groups meet at Crown Audi, Audi Tampa, and other dealerships, caravan to and converge at the Cracker Barrel at 2325 W. International Speedway Blvd.
Daytona Beach, FL 3211 for a quick lunch. Then as a group, we will head off to St Augustine for an afternoon of on your own sight seeing and early Christmas shopping. Supper will be at Barnacle Bill’s, nothing special planned except some good eats and camaraderie. They also have a children’s menu. All once again will be on their own after supper to stroll this historic city and enjoy the Night of Lights or head home. For those who stay the evening, perhaps on the 18th, we can add an early morning group photo in front of the Castillo de San Marco.
Dec. 1, 7:00-9:00AM
Toys for Tots plus Cars and Coffee at Reeves Motorsport facility in Tampa
Then for those who would like to take a drive to watch the boys from Hooked on Driving and the Ohio Chapter of the ACNA take a few laps at Daytona International Raceway. There is always the possibility of a Daytona Taxi ride, as Pete and I did last year in a Boss 302 and Shelby 500 Mustangs.

Last Months Sales Reporting
When the desire to win exceeds the rules of fair play, here is an example of some additional fall out from last month’s sales figures. I am sure our team at Herndon would never think of something like this. http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2012/08/wsj-catches-bmw-goosing-sa...
ACNA Membership Rewards
Audi of America and Audi Club NA are pleased to announce the continuation of the ACNA membership loyalty program through December of 2012. Audi of America will reward ACNA members’ loyalty to the Audi brand by providing a $500 cash incentive to members who purchase or lease a new or Certified Pre-Owned Audi.
New Car Roll Outs
There is a plethora of new and exciting models at you Audi dealership. From the new allroad to the S6, S7, and S8 there is a lot to see and check out especially for those of you who enjoy time in the left lane.
Welcome to our new members of the ACNA, we are looking forward to having you join us at one of our events. Should you have any questions or need additional information regarding the chapter, drop me a line at bob@audiclubfl.com
Finally, on the Lighter side
As a response to this article: BMW Revives Scooter Hopes as Audi Revs up Ducati, should there not be a Wanderer or NSU in Audi's future? That would address an additional segment of the market. My vote is for a Heritage DKW with the sidecar option similar to the Ural.
Cheers and Safe Motoring
