I recently upgraded my 2007 A6 to a 2014 3.0. I have a factory set of roof racks I used just a few time to carry my kayak. They are like new and attach solidly to the roof using out-of-sight holes…Continue

Lap number 2012 around the sun consisting of some 365 turns plus or minus a few nanoseconds has just about run its course. Along the way, there have been numerous Audi centric experiences starting off with the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, Dropping the Flag for Le Mans, Truth in 24 II, Audi Tech Center visit, a day or two at the track with Hooked on Driving and our “Drive into the Night of Lights”. Add to this a couple of drives and great luncheons at Buddy Freddy’s, Dunderbaks, Jolly Gator Fish Camp, Woody’s, and Hollerbach's Willow Tree, pounding down a breakfast or two at Cracker Barrel, Braman Multi Marque Meet, plus a new website; new format for the newsletter and it has been a relatively busy and successful year. Opportunities for improvement continue though and these are in the areas of membership, sale of raffle tickets in support of the ACNA and keeping present regions viable and expanding into new regions. Those who have been involved will attest to the level of commitment and actual time and hard work required to make all of this work so well. One of the benefits of recruiting new members for the ACNA is the chance to win a drivers seat in the Audi winter driving experience in Seefeld Austria. I participated in 2012 and one of our BoD members, will be participating in 2013. He will have the opportunity to refine his skills in an Audi S5 Sportback. That is right, a four door S5 with 333 horsepower and studded tires on all four corners. One is on their own getting to and from Munich and the first night in that historic city, but then the rest, if you win, is on someone else’s dime. It includes transfers, a visit to Ingolstadt, the museum and a factory tour, three nights in Seefeld, the site of a winter Olympics, two full days driving on ice like you just stole the car, night sleigh ride, some great meals and a night time ride with one of the instructors achieving speeds in excess of 50 MPH sideways doing full power drifts similar to rally drivers. Just at the end of the drive, we even became air born and that was with 4 adults in the car. All it takes is getting membership applications out there at your local Audi dealership and printing your name and ACNA number on the application in the “How did you hear about us?” section after Name:__________. Welcome to our new ACNA members. If you have, any questions feel free to drop me a line atbob@audiclubfl.org . I also suggest that if you have not had a chance yet check out both the ACNA websitehttp://www.audiclubna.org/ , and the Audi Club of Florida website http://www.audiclubfl.org/ How about a photo shop of a RS7 Imitation is the best form of flattery There are no clunkers to dent doors and the competition is not allowed. What a great example of entrepreneurship in a somewhat less than democratic country.
