I recently upgraded my 2007 A6 to a 2014 3.0. I have a factory set of roof racks I used just a few time to carry my kayak. They are like new and attach solidly to the roof using out-of-sight holes…Continue

Do someone from Miami area plan to attend to the event at Daytona? I would like information about round-trip auto transport to the racetrack. Thank you. Continue

Recently, members of the ACFL Board of Directors have been reaching out to some of our Audi dealerships, value added aftermarket tuners and businesses. We are pleased to mention and thankful to David Jacovides, General Manager of Crown Audi in Clearwater who was the first to purchase a group of ACNA memberships to add an additional level of Kundenbegeisterung to their already high level of service and commitment to the Audi owners and customer.
We as board members sincerely appreciate Crown Audi’s support and in turn urge club members to patronize their business endeavors. Aside from the leadership provided by those who organize events for the members, it is the commitment of businesses to support the club, which affords venues for our events and places for new owners to gather and share in their experiences. Should you reside in the Tampa bay region and be in the market for a new or used Audi, we urge you to check out the boys at Crown Audi. And by the way, please mention that the ACFL sent you.
As the year progresses and more vendors come on board with support for both the ACNA and ACFL, we look forward to also giving them a shout out.
Thank you David for your support,
Bob Greving
President, Audi Club of Florida
Audi Customer Teams will be racing the Rolex 24 at Daytona. As usual there will be an Audi Motorsport Experience - to buy tickets or check out all the great things your AME ticket gets you, visit http://audimotorsportexperience.com/audi-at-daytona/
We will hold our annual Board of Directors meeting during the Roar Before the 24, on Saturday, January 10. All active ACNA members are invited to attend but please RSVP with Bob Greving at a href="mailto:bob@audiclubfl.org" target="_blank">bob@audiclubfl.org> by noon January 8, so we can give the restaurant a head count. The Roar Before the 24 is a practice day for the Rolex 24, and a good opportunity to visit the pits and see the teams up close.
If you're interested in getting together with fellow members we'd like to hear from you, especially if you live in South or Southwest Florida. If you're interested in sharing information about an event or becoming a regional contact for the club, contact walter@audiclubfl.org.

1984 Audi Sport quattro to be auctioned
"In creating the Group B category in 1982, the FIA also reduced the number of road-going cars manufacturers were required to produce for homologation purposes from 400 to 200. This encouraged automakers involved in rallying to push the envelope, creating cars like the 1984 Audi Sport quattro, which featured 302-horsepower (in road-going versions) and quattro all-wheel drive. The performance of the not-for-U.S.-sale car was as impressive as its price tag. Next month, one of the 214 non-race versions constructed for homologation heads to auction in Arizona."

Audi: Five Stars for Audi A3 and S3 sedans in government crash test
"The all-new 2015 Audi A3 and S3 sedans have earned a 5-Star overall crash safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program – the highest crash test rating available. The 5-star rating complements the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ rating the Audi A3 sedan (when equipped with Audi pre sense front) received earlier this year."

Have a picture of your car or some Audi-related news of your own you'd like to share? Send your photo to Walter Moore walter@audiclubfl.org.
If you have a special Audi such as one of the S or RS models or a pre 2000 that you would like to sell, we will list it once in the newsletter. I will need the year, model, color over interior color, and your email address. Longer and non-member postings can be placed in the website. We will also list DKW, NSU, and Wanderer motorcycles. If you are looking for a particular car, once again S, RS or pre 2000 model plus a bike, we will also try to accommodate you here.
For Example: Wanted: Wanderer or DKW motorcycle of motorbike pre 1950 walter@audiclubfl.org
You can also use the Classifieds Forum on the Audi Club of Florida web site.
Final Words..
Welcome to our new ACNA members. Our membership numbers continue to grow; we are now well over 270 members, which mean additional critical mass in different regions of the state and hopefully more events and greater participation. Those of you who are new to the ACNA will receive an on boarding note from David Loppert. If you have any questions feel free to drop a line to David. If you have not had a chance yet check out both the ACNA website, and the Audi Club of Florida website. There is a great deal of good information plus some excellent photos of member’s cars.
And.. thank you to our sponsors!
