A6/S6 Roof Racks for sale (2005-2011)

I recently upgraded my 2007 A6 to a 2014 3.0.  I have a factory set of roof racks I used just a few time to carry my kayak.  They are like new and attach solidly to the roof using out-of-sight holes…Continue

Audi Club of Florida Newsletter for May 2016

Fellow ACNA and ACFL Member

It is time for a few shout outs. Yes the mail can be slow from Wisconsin to Florida, not sure if the excuse is justifiable but I just received notification that the following members included a little extra in their renewal payments to be directed for the chapter. As you may or may not know there is no direct trickle down from national to the ACFL in financial support. The only thing they pay for is fun run insurance and occasional grants for events. Everything else the ACFL foots and we do not charge any membership dues. So Jim Pettus, Jeff Loppert, Kerry Green, Kirk McCain and John Gregg, all contributed a total of $131.00 to the club’s coffers in the third quarter of last year, I know it is late but I just received the check and your names, thank you.

Secondly, Curt Kelley a name some may recognize and a fellow who just joined the ACNA, assisted with our first MPG rally back in 2008, our recent Q7 and A3 e-tron and Hofbrauhaus luncheon and last weekend’s MPG also won the hybrid class in an A3 e-tron with 50 plus MPG. He and his wife own an Ur allroad stick (rare Audi) I might add and an original TT roadster and he is our Audi Brand Specialist at Audi Clearwater. It is my understanding that the Clearwater Audi point will be participating and planning additional events involving the club in the future so welcome aboard Curt and thank you for your help last weekend with the MPG rally.

I have been in discussion with Andreas Regalado infocreative305@gmail.com.Yes the Fort Lauderdale Gold Coast foray seems to have skidded off the road or perhaps someone hit their mailbox while fishtailing They have not replied to any of Andreas or my emails but Andreas is willing to step up to the plate. He is from the Miami area, has a group of friends who are already doing things and recently along with his buddies joined the ACNA. I am working with him to see if once again we can get something going. If you are interested in getting in on the ground level, willing to spend some time and work a little in the planning for and execution of events, please drop Andreas a line at the above email address and copy me at bob@audiclubfl.org

Finally a thank you to Sunial Prakash, Jean-Marc Biewend of Audi South Orlando and Audi Clearwater respectively and Kirk Preiser of AoA for helping to make the MPG rally such a success in spite of the Quattro weather and Ron Hankley of AoA and our own Kerry Green for putting together the tour of the Audi Distribution center.

As we roll into the summer season, May is Cars and Coffee first Saturday at Reeves Motorsports and looks like either a pickup breakfast at the barrel or lunch at the Hofbrauhaus in St Pete, date to be determined, June is always the LeMans start at Reeves Motorsport and July a return to Saratoga for luncheon at the Alpine and a drop in at the new Audi Saratoga. Perhaps we will also have additional listings from the very active First Coast Region in Jacksonville and our first organizational meet of the Gold Coast Region in Miami.

So stay tuned, keep you plugs cleaned and enjoy your Audis.
