November marks our major driving event of the year. ACFL chapter members and enthusiasts starting from multiple locations in the Sunshine State, will meet for lunch in Daytona then proceed on to St Augustine for our “Drive into the Night of Lights” If you plan to participate, I would strongly suggest that you make your reservations at a hotel/motel/B&B of choice for that evening. Participants will be able to pre-register for the event by sending a check made out to the Audi Club of Florida for $20 and please include a note with the number adults in your party attending plus any children, with their names and ages. We want to make sure that we have appropriate SWAG for them. Last chance to mail in your registration is Monday November 12. December will see some of us stretching our Audi legs at Daytona while others will be participating at the combined Cars and Coffee and Toys for Tots at Reeves Motorsport or Cars and Coffee at Suncoast Audi. At this point plans are in the works for a Car Detail and Bodywork presentation at Superior Auto Body in St Pete, our annual luncheon on the beach at Woody’s on Blind Pass, St Pete Beach and of course, the trip to Buddy Freddy’s for some of their dietetic apple cobbler amongst other items. Audi USA's A6 allroad video gallery . And Now to the Numbers Audi had another record-breaking month as sales continue on a very strong pace. Unfortunately and this was in part due to some very aggressive sales promotions directed to those who were present BMW owners and were in the market to replace their car, they had their first stellar sales report in months. Nevertheless, they bought the business with marketing dollars. Here are links to Audi and BMW’s monthly sales report:
