A6/S6 Roof Racks for sale (2005-2011)

I recently upgraded my 2007 A6 to a 2014 3.0.  I have a factory set of roof racks I used just a few time to carry my kayak.  They are like new and attach solidly to the roof using out-of-sight holes…Continue

Audi Club of Florida Newsletter for August, 2014

Some of our luckiest members escaped the heat for the ACNA Summer driving vacation in Germany. Bob Greving reports back about visiting Audi Tradition and cruising the Autobahn. The rest of us will just have to turn down our climate control a bit or start planning our next vacations:

Some of us can trace our roots to the continent of Europe; of those, most can identify a country, perhaps a region, and even a few, possibly a city. Others may have even been fortunate enough to have been in contact with a few and actually have met a relative or two. It was not all that long ago that often a car joined its inhabitants in being ascribed to characterize the traits of the land from which it emanated. What an intriguing thought and probably neither true nor now very politically correct. Then of course to visit a country, drive a particular brand that we are clearly enamored with and experience some of the history of not only the brand but the country of its roots, well sometimes it does not get much better than that... (Continue reading Driving through Deutschland

Q3 Pricing announced, Audi gives up on CVTs, Six Million Quattros

The Q3 is officially coming to the US market in FWD and AWD form. This small SUV shares its platform with the A3, and prices range from $32,500 for FWD to $38,500 for the Quattro Prestige.

Audi has built six million all-wheel-drive cars. Autoblog reports that the six-millionth vehicle was a US-spec SQ5. Also, The Motor Reports tells us that Audi has announced that it will replace the CVT "Multitronic" transmission w... as CVT-equipped trims are refreshed. This should make for more enjoyable performance from base-model FWD A4s.

June - record sales for Audi

Someday I will have to pick a different headline, but here we are at 42 consecutive months of record sales. Audi reports every model saw increased sales, with the A3 claiming 7,735 sales since March. A3 sales should only go up when the TDI and cabriolet models go on sale.  Audi set multiple U.S. sales records with 23.1% gain in June

Bob Greving went to Germany for the ACNA Summer Drive (see his article, Driving durch Deutschland). He took with him one of the club's "Heritage" magnetic signs, now added to the collection at Audi Tradition.

If you have a special Audi such as one of the S or RS models or a pre 2000 that you would like to sell, we will list it once in the newsletter. I will need the year, model, color over interior color, and your email address. Longer and non-member postings can be placed in the website. We will also list DKW, NSU, and Wanderer motorcycles. If you are looking for a particular car, once again S, RS or pre 2000 model plus a bike, we will also try to accommodate you here.

For Example: Wanted: Wanderer or DKW motorcycle of motorbike pre 1950 walter@audiclubfl.org

You can also use the Classifieds Forum on the Audi Club of Florida web site.

Final Words..

Welcome to our new ACNA members. Our membership numbers continue to grow; we are now well over 270 members, which mean additional critical mass in different regions of the state and hopefully more events and greater participation. Those of you who are new to the ACNA will receive an on boarding note from David Loppert. If you have any questions feel free to drop a line to David. If you have not had a chance yet check out both the ACNA website, and the Audi Club of Florida website. There is a great deal of good information plus some excellent photos of member’s cars.
